Music and Worship
Music forms an integral part of the weekly services at St. George’s. It is chosen to reflect the scripture readings and liturgical themes of the Sunday. Music sung at St. George’s covers a wide range of periods from the 14th century to the present. We combine the English cathedral choral tradition with the needs and desires of the congregation to be actively involved in the liturgy of the church.
The Hymn Book in use at St. George’s is the full music edition of the 1998 hymn book of the Anglican Church of Canada, Common Praise. To assist the congregation, the weekly leaflet includes much of the music sung during the service
Repertoire / Performances
