Parish Priest of St. George’s Crescentwood

Our priest serves, with the people of St. George’s, to foster spiritual growth. His desire is help people articulate their own spiritual needs by asking the big questions so that, in community, we may work together to fulfill those spiritual needs through active ministry and service to the people in Crescentwood, Winnipeg and the whole world. Lyndon’s hope is that, as instruments of peace, together we can become a people that truly loves, accepts, welcomes and serves everyone by following the call of Jesus Christ to simply “love one another.”

Music Director

Our Music Director serves St. George’s as Organist and Choir Director. He is responsible for providing the Incumbent with music recommendations for each service. His responsibilities include two choir practices per week in preparation for Sunday services. He offers additional practices and musical leadership for special services as required.


Marion Grocegroce
Parish Administrator

Our Parish Administrator is indispensable to the Incumbent in coordinating all the activity that takes place in the parish and everything on the Church calendar. She is the person you deal with when you want to rent space, schedule an activity or place a notice in the Sunday pew leaflet. Monday through Friday, you can find her in the office complex up the stairs at the back of the parish hall, where she keeps everything running smoothly.

Custodian

The Custodian at St. George’s works at keeping the building in good condition. You’ll see him with mop, vacuum, or broom, and setting up tables and chairs for various events. Everything in the parish works more smoothly because of him.
